The Rosskopf/Monte Cavallo ski area also offers a true winter paradise off the slopes. The nearly 6 km long groomed winter circular trail to "Flaner Jöchl" is ready for exploration. Amidst the snow-covered mountains, it’s easy to leave everyday life behind and enjoy the wonderfully serene panorama. Along the trail, you'll find places to stop, such as the Furlhütte and the Sterzingerhaus. The circular route is also suitable for families; plan about 2 hours for this leisurely hike. Snowshoes are not necessary, as the trail is groomed.
